About upper cervical chiropractic.

We all know that the brain controls the body. All communication to and from the brain, to and from the body, has to pass through the brain stem. The brain stem controls most organ functions, immune system, and nervous system. It is the fuze box of the body. It determines if the body is healthy and adapting to its internal and external environments.
Your Brain

The brain stem extends through the skull to the top part of the neck. This area of the neck is vulnerable to injury during truama. The misalignment of the head to the body can put pressure on the brain stem, and may interfere with the brain to body communication causing various health problems. This is an Upper Cervical Subluxation.

The first two bones in the neckThe Upper Cervical Doctor uses advanced technology to determine where and if there is an Upper Cervical Subluxation. Precision x-rays are taken to determine the location and direction of the misaligned vertebrae. Thermal imaging is used to determine if and when the misalignment is putting pressure on the brain stem. A correction is then made by the Upper Cervical Doctor's hands to unlock the misaligned vertebra and remove the pressure on the brain stem. This is the Adjustment.

The focus of care is not the Adjustment, but the rehabilitation of the body to hold the Adjustment and to keep the pressure off the brain stem, so the body can heal without drugs or surgery. As the body holds its proper alignment, evaluations to maintain the Adjustment will be needed to prevent the body from getting sick. It is similar to going to the dentist for a cleaning and check up as prevention of cavities or worse.
